Overall objective: 
Realize the social potential to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (2030 Agenda) throughout Palestinian LGUs.

Main Activities and Interventions
First: Mobilizing Local Resources to Implement the 2030 Global Agenda

1. Orientation sessions for newly elected Mayors of Local Government Units (LGUs) on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
2. Building the capacities of LGUs in the areas of the SDGs.
3. Supporting LGUs in raising awareness of the SDGs.
4. Supporting the capacity development of APLA’s executive staff.
5. Supporting LGUs in aligning their Local Development Plans with the SDGs.
6. Establishing an institutional framework for effective monitoring and reporting on the Local SDGs.
7. Operating and updating the SDG Platform as a tool for monitoring, awareness-raising, and advocacy on the SDGs.
8. Establishing a process for monitoring Local SDG indicators.
   Providing Local Environmental Solutions to LGUs.

Second: Improving and Enhancing the Services of the Technical and Legal Support Unit

1. Implementing knowledge and experience-sharing platform activities for LGUs.
2. Improving the services of the Technical and Legal Support Unit.
3. Provision of Advisory Services and Policy Dialogue Support.

Third: Enhancing the Readiness and Capacity of LGUs to Engage in, Manage, and Benefit from Decentralized Cooperation

1. Building Municipal Readiness and Cooperation Foundations.
2. Partnership Activation, Exchange, and Concrete Joint Implementation.
