In partnership with the Arab American University Radio (AAUP Radio), the Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA) announced the launch of a dedicated radio programme for local government units (LGUs). In line with APLA’s objective of representing LGU interests and issues at all levels, the radio show provides a comprehensive and neutral media platform that highlights LGU efforts to serve local communities and promote LGU status as a key partner in local development.

In addition to providing an information hub to share LGUs experience and achievements, the radio programme is in tandem with the APLA effort to raise awareness of the LGU important role in serving local communities. It is also in harmony with the AAUP Radio’s commitment to build partnerships and cooperate with civil society organisations and provide an impartial media space to serve Palestinian citizens.
