The Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA) conducted M&E meeting and workshops organized on the inclusiveness of People with disabilities in local authorities' agendas, under the project "Promoting the Rights of People with Disabilities in Palestine", implemented in partnership with EducAid and funded by AICS. The meeting was attended by APLA's Executive Director, Eng. Abdallah Anati; and Project Manager from EducAid, Veronica Berotzi, in addition to a group of trainers who facilitated the abovementioned workshops.

APLA's Activities Coordinator, Shurouq Rabee' clarified that, during the meeting, the outcomes of the series of workshops were discussed, which were organized by APLA during the last quarter of 2021 over six days with the participation of 115 representatives of local authorities from all around the West Bank. Future steps and main dimensions of activities were identified, which will be implemented in order to guarantee the integration of people with disabilities at the level of local authorities and maintain the sustainability of such measures after the termination of the project.
