Launching the Series of Orientation Sessions for elected Local Authorities in 2022

During the opening of the series of orientation sessions for elected local authorities in 2022, organized by the Ministry of Local Government in partnership with the Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA), APLA's President, Eng. Musa Hadid said "building and development processes are ongoing due to the efforts of all components of the local governance sector despite the challenges and hardships facing the work of local authorities". The event was attended by H.E. Minister of Local Government, Eng. Majdi Al-Saleh; APLA's President, Eng. Musa Hadid; Deputy Governor of Jerusalem, Abdallah Siyam; Ministry general directors and teams, and the elected Mayors and council members in Jerusalem governorate.

 

Minister of Local Government, Eng. Al-Saleh confirmed that launching this series of orientation and awareness sessions for local authorities from Jerusalem governorate, is out of the keenness to give this governorate, which is dear to all of our hearts, importance and priority at all levels and in all fields and aspects of daily living.

 

Meanwhile, Eng. Hadid congratulated the local authorities elected in Jerusalem governorate, reiterating the importance of the role they play regarding the provision of services to our people, and maintaining civil peace despite the difficult circumstances and the obstacles through which the occupation tries to stop the wheel of comprehensive local development.

 

It is worth mentioning that this series of orientation sessions for elected local authorities will be implemented in all governorates during the next days.
