APLA announced the completion of the process of supplying office equipment to 22 village councils who applied to join the Village Councils that are included in capacity development activities. These councils were provided with 43 computers, 48 UBS devices and 19 multi-purpose printers, with funding from the Swiss Development Agency., the SDC and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ, implemented by the Reform Program in the local government sector, the GIZ, and coordinated by the Association of the Palestinian Local Authorities.

These areas were, activities to identify priorities of marginalized groups in the village council’s strategic development plan, social accountability activities to improve dialogue mechanisms between the village council and its citizens, activities for improving the financial capacity of the village council, activities to support the physical planning of the village, and activities to provide office equipment (computers, printers...).
