The Financial Committee of the Association of Palestinian of Local Authorities held its 1st meeting for 2021 at APLA’s premises in Ramallah. This came in the presence of APLA’s President - Mayor of Ramallah Eng. Musa Hadid, and the committee members, APLA Treasurer - Mayor of Tulkarm, Muhammad Yaqoub, Mayor of Qalqilya, Dr. Hashem Al-Masri, Mayor of Jericho Salem Al-Ghrouf and Executive Director of the APLA Eng. Abdallah Anati.
In the first part of the meeting, Dr. Samir Beydoun, as an external advisor, presented APLA’s Human Resources guide. The participants discussed all of the guide’s provisions and approved them to become effective as of that date. Subsequently, the Financial Committee completed its agenda and approved the selection of bidder to audit APLA’s 2020 accounts, and discussed the budget drafted for the year 2021 in preparation for its presentation at the meeting of the Executive Committee for approval. It also approved the administrative and financial directives for the current year.
