The Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA) condemns the assassinations attempt on the Prime Minister Dr. Rami al-Hamdallah and the General Intelligence Service Maj. Gen. Majid Faraj in Gaza, which resulted in several injuries among the accompanying delegation.
APLA said that this crime aims to spread more poisonous discrimination between our people across the nation, and to disrupt all attempts to end the odious division and return the cohesion to our people, and comes to blow up the efforts of the strenuous leadership to unite the ranks and to face all threats surrounding our Palestinian cause. APLA stressed the need of the continuous efforts to achieve national reconciliation and defuse sedition and discrimination.
APLA called to exert the necessary efforts and expose those responsible for this ominous incident and bring them to justice.
APLA also commended the efforts of Prime Minister Dr. Rami Al-Hamdallah to alleviate the burdens imposed on the Gaza Strip citizens, and his keenness to end the humanitarian crises in the Gaza Strip. APLA stressed the importance of enabling the Government of National Unity in the Strip to be able to carry out its responsibilities towards our people in Gaza.
