The Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA) welcomed a number of the Spanish Municipal representatives to participate in promoting the Spanish institutional solidarity with the Palestinian people which was organized by the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement (BDS).

APLA's President Eng. Mousa Hadid expressed his gratitude for the Spanish delegation visit and highlighted the importance of supporting the Palestinian international community at this stage, stressing on the need to strengthen and activate solidarity with the Palestinian people and providing all possible support.

Eng. Hadid also highlighted all challenges and obstacles the Israeli occupation place on the Palestinian people in general and on the Local Authorities in particular, stating that this visit will give the delegation a valid understanding of the challenges and obstacles facing the Palestinian Local Authorities.

APLA arranged a dinner ceremony with the presence of its Executive Committees members, the Spanish Municipal delegation, and BDS representatives, during which, they've discussed the prospects of joint cooperation and means to develop and support Local Authorities to maintain and develop bilateral relations between the two countries.
