Palestinian local authorities continue to fulfill their national and public service role despite the severe political, economic, and humanitarian challenges facing the Palestinian people.
These were among the key messages delivered by the President of the Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA), Mr. Abdal Karim Al-Zubaidi, during the Launch Conference of the 2026–2030 Elected Local Councils, organized by the Palestinian Ministry of Local Government. He emphasized that APLA will remain the unified voice of Palestinian local authorities, an advocate for their rights, and a key government partner in advancing the local government sector.
