Community Initiatives in Salfit, Kufor Thulth, and Surra Municipalities
As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of LGUs in leading citizen-responsive local development, the Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA) continues to support community initiatives that translate the principles of participation, transparency, and accountability into tangible and sustainable development outcomes.
This film documents a selection of community initiatives implemented by APLA in partnership with the municipalities of Salfit, Kufor Thulth, and Surra. These initiatives were designed to respond to citizens' priorities and needs through development interventions that deliver meaningful and lasting impact.
These initiatives were implemented as part of the Transparency, Evidence and Accountability (TEA3) Programme - United Nations Development Programme/ Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP), with the support of the British Consulate General in Jerusalem, the Government of Sweden, and the Government of Australia.
